Easter number one… CHECK!

This past weekend we spent Easter at Grandma Wiest’s house with Pap Chris, Uncle Brody, Uncle Bronson, and the rest of the Wiest gang.  Grandma Wiest always prepares such tasty, perfectly flawless meals for us, and this one definitely didn’t disappoint us.  It was a huge buffet complete with ham, mashed potatoes, stuffing, sweet potatoes, corn, green been casserole, baked beans and of course an impressive array of desserts.  Grandma is by far a master in the kitchen!  We can’t thank her enough for cooking such an outstanding dinner for us, and for sending us home with two boxes of leftovers and various other goodies.  We love you, Grandma!

We did take along a special dessert that Rydan helped to make, which we called “Mini Springtime Whoopie Pies.”  Check out the fun we had together in the kitchen preparing these colorful treats, as well as our favorite moments throughout the day at Grandma’s house.

The best we could get for a family picture.

Thank you to the Wiests for a day filled with lots of fun, sweet treats, good laughs, and family love.

STAY TUNED FOR EASTER: PART II!
