Marshmallow Mondays wishes you a HAPPY SPRING !
Even though he loves the snow, Rydan has been looking forward to warmer weather for quite some time. With two tree swings, a new electric scooter, a basketball hoop and a big yard to play baseball, the first day of Spring couldn’t come soon enough. Every day this month, he has come home from school and asked me if it is warm enough outside for him to go “train” on his scooter.
Besides all of that, there’s another very important reason why Rydan has been counting down to March 21st… FREE RITA’S! So yesterday after lunch we bundled up and drove into town to take advantage of our complimentary Italian Ice.
Rydan’s choice: Smores. Daddy’s choice: Georgia Peach. Mommy’s choice: Citris Green Tea. Lily of course was just along for the ride, but we can’t wait until next year when we can introduce her to Rita’s and she can find her own favorite flavor.
In addition to our Italian ice, we also treated Rydan to donuts after church that morning. Feeling the Spring spirit, he of course chose a donut coated in chocolate icing and pastel colored sprinkles.
Overall, it was one sweet way to ring in Spring!

I can’t wait to see pictures of Rydan on his scoot.
And funny – I went out for tea with my friend Megan and picked a springtime sweet smelling “Island Jasmine Green”!
